Chicken Bone

Chicken Bone is a beloved 10-piece Evanston cover band with over 17 years of history and a reputation for keeping crowds on their feet. Born out of a basement birthday party in 2008, the group has grown into a full ensemble featuring vocals, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, and a three-piece horn section.

What sets Chicken Bone apart is their gloriously unpredictable setlist. Funk, soul, classic rock, country, bluegrass, folk, punk: nothing is off limits. With a repertoire of around 250 songs, a typical show draws from artists as varied as Sly and the Family Stone, the Grateful Dead, Carly Simon, and Blur, alongside deep cuts that will delight even the most seasoned music fans!
